Summary

In 2016, Zaporizhzhya National University began training future bachelors in design on the basis of the Department of Acting and Design. On February 1, 2021, after the structural reorganization, the Department of Design was established as an independent structural unit of the university. The staff of the department includes 8 teachers (2 associate professors, 5 senior teachers and 1 teacher), including: 1 candidate of pedagogical sciences, 1 doctor of philosophy in the field of pedagogy, 1 Honored Artist of Ukraine. All teachers of the department are experienced professionals who are members of professional creative unions, such as: the Union of Designers of Ukraine, the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, the Union of Advertisers of Ukraine.
